Spring Break 2022

Over spring break, I worked, spent time with my friends and family, and spent time at home. When spring break began, my job started their annual easter eggstravaganza event. My shifts consisted of 5-8 hours working with the crowd coming to celebrate easter and enjoy all the activities we have to offer. It is nice having a job where you get to work with friends and be outdoors enjoying the fresh air. Other than working I spent some time with my cousin. We wouldn't do much, but it's better than being home alone and bored. We would go for ice cream/yogurtland and spend time at her house. I also went to my aunts house with my dad to watch the Mexico soccer game and there we had tesmole de pollo con bolas de masa for dinner.

My favorite artist, Harry Styles, dropped his new single "As it was." I listened to it once I was out of work and it didn't take long for it to become my favorite song and learn the lyrics. The song makes me feel happy and ready for summer. I also went on a walk with my dad, one of my cousins and our dogs Bella, Suki, and Lexi. My dog Bella got tired half way through our walk so we stopped, let her rest, and gave the dogs a water break. On our way back home I came across this quote hung up on a tree on the trail we were taking. Lastly I spent time with my mom, aunt, grandma, and sisters at the park. We played on the swings, raced down the slides and laid down under the shade enjoying the breeze. Overall I enjoyed my spring break and had a good time spending it with the people closest to me.
